## Glossary

| Term                 | Definition                                                           |
| -------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Web3                 | Internet applications that use blockchain-based systems and wallets. |
| DeFi                 | Decentralized finance applications and protocols.                    |
| Smart contract       | Code deployed on a blockchain that performs defined actions.         |
| Swap                 | An exchange of one digital asset for another.                        |
| Bridge               | A mechanism for moving assets or messages between networks.          |
| Lending              | Supplying or borrowing assets through a protocol.                    |
| Staking              | Locking or delegating assets within a network or protocol process.   |
| Liquidity            | Assets available for trading, borrowing, or other protocol activity. |
| Slippage             | The difference between an expected and actual execution price.       |
| Gas                  | A network fee required to process an on-chain transaction.           |
| Strategy             | A structured set of actions executed as a workflow.                  |
| Execution route      | The sequence of actions used to complete a strategy.                 |
| Composability        | The ability to combine compatible actions or protocols.              |
| On-chain transaction | A signed action recorded and processed on a blockchain.              |
